During the school year, Sítio do Carroção welcomes students from the best schools in the country and during the winter, summer and carnival vacations, children and teenagers aged 5 to 16 from all over Brazil and abroad experience a world of unforgettable adventures, lots of fun and new friendships. Playing and having fun, they naturally learn to develop their best skills in terms of organization, coexistence, autonomy, responsibility and creativity. And what's best: away from electronic equipment!

Manoel Cerqueira Leite and his wife D. Ruth bought the Ribeirão das Pederneiras estate in the 1960s, thinking only of family leisure and the dream of planting for simple pleasure. He could never have imagined that his son, Luís Gonzaga, who hated "the four walls of school" and went on to become a publicist and artist, would turn this small area into a major enterprise. What began as a family business soon grew into a company, and then took its own course as a summer camp for children. There are more than 180 direct employees, rising to more than 300 in their vacation seasons, distributed among numerous teams.
