Welcome to this remarkable educational journey: exploring Espaço Jabuti
Espaço Jabuti is an essential partner for schools, not only providing knowledge, but also playing an active role in shaping fundamental values, such as respect and responsibility, to cultivate a new environmental and social awareness.
True learning takes place when knowledge is experienced, bringing to reality what was previously just theory in books, maps or digital images. At Espaço Jabuti, learning becomes a playful and engaging experience, guided by our team of dedicated monitors. The thousands of visitors who pass through Espaço Jabuti have the opportunity not only to enjoy nature, but also to take with them the experiences, emotions and concepts they have learnt, extending these experiences beyond the natural environment.
The complex offers a high-quality hotel infrastructure, with reception areas, offices, toilets and a souvenir shop. The air-conditioned restaurant can seat 250 people and has well-equipped kitchens. For accommodation, we have 250 beds spread over six collective dormitories.
The water park is a separate attraction, with a 550-square-metre themed pool, a 270-square-metre indoor thermal pool and a 1,200-square-metre activity pool (equivalent to 1.5 million litres of water), where visitors can enjoy water slides and zip lines. All the pools and the complex are supplied by deep artesian wells, guaranteeing access to quality mineral water throughout the area.
Pedagogical activities take place at stations throughout the complex, each equipped with the necessary resources to offer interactive and engaging lessons. The itinerary includes the following educational projects:
nature Station - A place where students can experience life in the countryside. Students will have contact with the different animals that are raised in the countryside, can go horse riding and visit the Pousada dos Jabutis.
planetarium - A very special space adventure. This experience will be an open window into space, broadening their knowledge of astronomy. The planetarium features Full Dome technology.
water Park - Water games.
With a built area of approximately 4,500 square metres, Espaço Jabuti was designed with a master plan that prioritises modern, ecologically sustainable materials, harmoniously integrating the buildings with the natural environment. In addition, we have a complete structure for breeding and caring for the animals present in the space, including goats, sheep, poultry and pigs, as well as facilities such as a dairy, feed mill, honey extraction laboratory, kennels, butcher's shop and cheese factory.
